Risk Management in Business & Regulation: Towards a Better Management of Risk

Risk Management in Business & Regulation

Course Description

This course introduces participants to the various risk management tools necessary to induce and help implement change in the structure of regulatory systems and frameworks. It showcases tools and models that have been developed in response to the problems faced by various entities in implementing risk management tools within regulatory systems. It does not – nor could it – cover all such problems; instead, it focuses on those that in our view are the most important, as identified by the risk management needs assessment survey conducted by the Working Party on Regulatory Cooperation and Standardization Policies (WP6).

NOTE: We recommend using the latest version of the Chrome or Safari browsers to ensure an optimal experience viewing the lectures

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize the value of building risk-building regulatory systems
  • Take steps to better manage risk
  • Evaluate risk manage in regulatory systems

For its first edition, the courses will be moderated by a UNECE expert who will encourage participants to exchange among themselves and submit assignments to complete their learning objectives. This will allow UNECE to try out the courses and as needed improve them before they are offered as stand-alone. The first edition of the courses will be launched on 1st December 2019.
